Radio amateurs have been experimenting with UHF and microwave
frequencies for a long time using secondary allocation bands from 902 MHz to
10.5 GHz shared mostly with the military. This book contains projects for the
experimental amateur and assists with the construction of some basic
equipment to begin operating in these higher microwave bands. These projects
will help the amateur understand the fundamental design principles and
techniques that previously were thought to be prohibitively complex and
costly.
